Hole #3 "Oasis"

The 3rd hole at Par Line Golf Course is a moderate length par 4, slight dogleg right with the prevailing wind. Bunkers guard the left side of the fairway, there is a wilderness area between the tee and the landing area, and thick trees to the right.

Comments From the Caddy Shack (Rating ***):

The tee shot is the critical shot on this hole. Hit a good one and you'll tend to score well. A bad tee shot can result in disaster. The left side of the fairway is the best side to approach from, but you don't want to flirt with those bunkers. Aim right of the left 150 bush and fade the ball, and everything will be all right. Take a 3-wood if you want to be safe, but make sure you can carry it 200 yards just in case you slice it. You'll need that much to carry the forest on the right, just in case you push it. The approach shot is a bit tricky from the right rough as you have to hit it high and straight over trees, and there is OB if you miss a little right. If you are in the fairway, go ahead and shoot at the flagstick on your approach. You'll have an uphill lie, so if the ball doesn't go straight, it will end up a little left, which is the preferred side to putt and chip from, as the green tilts right to left.
