About Us

“If you build it they will come”…. It’s not just a line from a famous Kevin Costner flick. As a former owner of the Country Table Restaurant in Mt. Joy, Roy Sauder Sr. was looking for something else. That something else turned out to be 160 acres of farm land that he envisioned as a golf course. The result – Par Line Golf Course – so named for the Pennsylvania Dutch slang for a power line that spans the first hole from nearby Three Mile Island. Par Line is a 6200 yard par 72 course that sits on the Dauphin/Lancaster County border between Elizabethtown and Middletown. Friendly, affordable golf is the name of the game at Par Line – where you will find two long par 5’s including the monster 580 yard hole 9. The course opened in 1992 and you'll find an abundance of wildlife, a covered bridge and several swans who have made the pond along number 9 their home! Call for tee times at 717-367-7794
